If your company uses Google Workspace, you will need to check if you have authorization to use Third-Party Add-ons. Read more.

If the Stract extension is blocked you will see the message“Error 400: admin_policy_enforced“.

To enable app installation in Google Workspace, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to Google Admin Console. Use a account account administrator
  2. In the Admin Console, go to Menu > Apps > Google Workspace > Drive and Documents.
  3. Click on Features and applications.
  4. Click on Add-ons.
  5. Check the box Allow users to install Google Docs add-ons from the add-ons store.
  6. Click on Save.

Once installed, you will need to grant access to the Stract App in the Workspace:

  1. In the Apps configured or Apps accessed list, click on an app to analyze the following:
    • Manage the app’s access to Google Services: check whether it is marked as “Trusted”, “Limited” or “Blocked”. If you change the access setting, click Save.
    • View information about the app: see the app’s OAuth2 client ID, number of users, Privacy Policy and support information.
    • See the Google service APIs (OAuth scopes) that the app is requesting: see a list of the OAuth scopes requested by each app. To see each of the OAuth scopes, expand the row in the table or click Expand all.
